Getting to the airport? The Airport is served by I-5 with connections to State Route 163, I-8 and I-15. 


Whether you're looking for the convenience of valet parking, hourly or long-term options—San Diego International Airport has options to make taking off easier.

Parking Reservations

Save time and money when you park at the airport by reserving a curbside Valet service appointment, or an economy lot space.


Taxis depart from the designated taxi zones located at the transit islands, on the Arrivals/Baggage Claim Level adjacent to each terminal.

Public Transportation

There are a number of public transportation services available to you at any given time when you need to get to and from the Airport.

Cell Phone Lot

Friends and family who are picking up arriving passengers can conveniently wait for them at the Airport's Cell Phone Waiting Lot.

Rental Cars

Off-airport rental car agencies are served by free shuttle service from multiple locations throughout the terminals.


Courtesy shuttles to participating San Diego-area hotels are located at the Hotel Courtesy Shuttle zones on the transit islands at terminals 1 and 2.

Biking & Walking

To gain access to the airport via bicycle, San Diego offers a convenient bike & transit option that is safe and environmentally friendly.
